Highland Park “Aromatic”
These clients wanted a garden with ample shade and fragrant plants. Located in hot Highland Park, we decided to use Chilean mesquite trees. These desert beauties provide a beautiful dappled shade and can handle the hot, dry summers. The planting palette is highly textured with structural yuccas, euphorbias and various aromatic shrubs like sages, rosemary, mugworts and jasmine.
