Inverness “mcm”
A planting design for a classic Los Feliz Hills mid-century modern home. We did not design this pool, but we fully support this pool! Forever respect the kidney bean when it is called for. The back garden leans heavily into the midcentury style, with Mediterranean fan palms gracing each corner of the pool deck. The new firepit was designed by Chet Architecture, who designed the home interior renovations.
We replaced a sad hillside lawn in the front garden with native, Australian, and South African flowering plants and agaves for texture. Two gorgeous Palo Verde trees grace the length of the driveway. The existing front planters are filled with plants that nod to the midcentury style of the home.
